I never thought I’d see the day when AdmiredLyrics has zero submissions. It’s taken months, but Mandy and I have finally gone through the hundreds and hundreds of submissions we’ve gotten since we started this blog. Keep a lookout for your submissions in the next few weeks. Unfortunately we cannot make them all, but you can always resubmit them and make sure they are submitted correctly with the lyrics. If you simply just say “the whole song” or “there are many good lines” chances are they will be deleted unless we like that song, too. Also, we will be on vacation all next week. No, we don’t. We have plenty of lyrics about life, heartbreak, family, friends, dreams, parties, summer, death, social problems, and more. We have made almost 600 lyrics, and they aren’t all love lyrics. And it isn’t our fault that the majority of songs are about love.

Anonymous: Hi I love this blog and the idea and all but I have noticed that you don't seem to have a lot of diversity in the pictures of couples you show. Maybe it's just me, but they all seem to be heterosexual white couples, and that's a little bothersome.

We agree that we could use some diversity in the background pictures. We are humoring the idea of having a submit photo button where you can submit a photo for the background to a particular song. However, we don’t really want the picture to influence people reblogging the post since the lyrics are matter the most for us.

Anonymous: do you ever post things with unknown or like more underground kind of artists or just popular ones?

We mainly post popular artists. Occasionally we will post an unknown or not as popular artist, but it’s only because we loved the lyrics so much that we had to make it.
